Sweet + Savory Chili

Sautée onion and garlic with ½ cup ghee until a little brown.

Onion : 2 chopped

Garlic : 1 tblsp

Add beef

Grass-finished Ground Beef : 2 pounds

After beef is browned, add all seasonings.

Cayenne : ½ teaspoon (optional)

Cumin : 1 tablespoon

Paprika : 3 tablespoons

Salt : 1 tablespoon

Chili Powder : 1 tablespoon

Oregano : 1 tablespoon

Then add wet ingredients:

Syrup : ¼ - ½ cup (you choose your sweetness level)

Organic Fire Roasted Crushed tomatoes: 1 or 2 (28 oz cans)

Beans: 2 cans (we use lentils, but you can use black or kidney)

Cilantro: 1 cup chopped

Add water or bone broth (1-2 cups) to consistency desired. We like it thick! Simmer for several hours.

P.s. For vegan option, leave out ghee and beef. Add more beans or lentils!
